Part of the testing process involved evaluating the WiiM Pro’s control app for functionality and ease of use. I have used apps from competing products like Sonos and Bluesound extensively, so there was a strong base for comparison with the WiiM app . In the vast majority of cases we will not be able to install the cabinet doors to built-in laundry products as the fittings very rarely match up. We will try our best however if we are unable to do this we will still install connect to plumbing and put the appliance in situ. The Pro Plus is one of the most affordable streamers we’ve seen in a while, undercutting the current budget models, such as the Cambridge Audio MXN10 and Bluesound Node, by a significant margin. With such a host of streaming features at its disposal, it could be set to disrupt what is becoming an increasingly competitive area. But how does it sound, we hear you ask? Based on our testing pretty good considering the cost, with our reviewers reporting it delivers great sound for the money. As we said then: “the WiiM Pro Plus is hard to lay a glove on at the price. It sounds poised and accomplished, it has a surprisingly well-executed control app, and it’s ready to form the basis of a multi-room system too".
